News Pine Country Bank Receives the Little Falls Area Chamber of Commerce 2009 Large Business of the Year Award.Pine Country Bank’s commitment to the Little Falls Area Chamber of Commerce and central Minnesota is seen through many facets in the community. For the Chamber, the Bank has been the driving force behind the Business Insights educational series, now in its sixth year. Pine Country Bank provides the majority of the funding for this project as well as professional marketing services. In accepting the award, President Rob Ronning stated, “Pine Country Bank is very successful due to its many satisfied customers who have put their trust in their bank to provide them with their financial needs…I consider it a privilege to have been nominated for this award. We appreciate the community support, and feel we have to give back to the community through volunteering." President Ronning gives Pine Country employees time to volunteer during work hours. Employees volunteer at over 24 organizations throughout central Minnesota, like Knights of Columbus, United Way, Morrison County Area Foundation, Rice Chamber of Commerce and Morrison County Boys and Girls Club. Besides these organizations, employees are encouraged to volunteer at community events and projects.
